MUHMFCIG Elects New Leadership and Revitalizes Operations

The Mforya Up-Hill Mixed Farming Common Initiative Group (MUHMFCIG) has entered a new era of progress and renewal under the guiding motto “Our Past is Over.”

At the recent assembly, members elected a dynamic new Board of Delegates to steer the organization toward greater growth, transparency, and innovation in sustainable agriculture.

Elected Board Members:

  • President: Anchesah Emmanuel Tamonkia
  • General Secretary: Tamonkia Will Aboshu
  • Financial Secretary: Che John Yah
  • Treasurer: Ngouni Valerie
  • Technical Adviser: Changeh R. Foncha
  • Founding Members: Mokem Mathias Atoh, Nkengfac Joseph Marcel

In addition to the new leadership, the MUHMFCIG Head Office has been reconstructed to better serve members and coordinate the cooperative’s expanding operations across the North West Region.

The organization has also re-introduced its diversified production lines to the public, reaffirming its commitment to sustainable mixed farming and community empowerment.

Revived and Active Production Sectors Include:

  • Piglets, pork, and fattened pigs
  • Poultry (various birds and fowls of all breeds)
  • Starch, garri, and waterfufu processing
  • Mushroom cultivation and mushroom juice production
  • Goat and sheep rearing
  • Fisheries and aquaculture
  • Vegetable and crop gardening

With renewed energy and a forward-looking vision, MUHMFCIG continues to uphold its mission of empowering communities through sustainable agriculture, innovation, and environmental stewardship.
