Mforya Up-Hill Mixed Farming Common Initiative Group / Cooperative (MUHMFCIG/MUHMFCOOP) is pleased to announce its Cassava Farmers Conference 2025, an important gathering dedicated to empowering cassava farmers and processors within Bafut Municipality and beyond.
This conference is part of our ongoing commitment to strengthen food security, improve farmer incomes, and promote value addition through garri, water fufu, and starch processing.
Theme: Advancing Cassava Production & Value Addition
The conference will focus on:
- Improved cassava cultivation techniques and best practices,
- Disease control and use of quality planting materials,
- Post-harvest handling and processing into garri and water fufu,
- Hygiene and quality standards in processing,
- Cooperative marketing and access to better markets,
- Sharing experiences among farmers.
Who Should Attend?
This event is open to:
- MUHMFCIG/MUHMFCOOP members,
- Would-be members interested in cassava farming,
- Women and youth engaged in processing activities,
- Community farmers and agri-entrepreneurs.
