Following the financial offer recently granted by the Bafut Council and approved by the competent municipal authorities, the Bafut Municipal Council, in partnership with the Mforya Up-Hill Mixed Farming Common Initiative Group (MUHMFCIG), has committed to empowering local farmers and agro-producers across the Bafut Municipality with vital material inputs and financial assistance.
This landmark initiative marks a major step in strengthening community-based agriculture, improving food security, and enhancing livelihoods in the North West Region.
Recognizing MUHMFCIG’s over a decade of impactful service in sustainable mixed farming, capacity building, and community empowerment, the Bafut Council has chosen the cooperative as a key partner for implementing this support program.
